
Two people are due to appear in court today after a cannabis farm was found in Whitehaven.
Police raided a property on Lowther Street yesterday, Tuesday August 6, and found around 1,000 plants.
Now Drilon Hasani, 32, of Camomile Close, Walsall, and Agron Lushi, 39, of no fixed address, are due to appear in court today, Wednesday August 7, charged with producing cannabis.
Officers from intel, CID, the tactical support group and the neighbourhood policing team raided the building as part of Operation Lookout, the force’s response to tackling commercial cannabis grows.
