Barrow police have warned that there have been a number of reports about the theft of motorbikes and scooters in the area over the last few days.
In a tongue-in-cheek social media post, Barrow officers said: “On a positive note, and to the despair for two gents, their sticky fingers were sniffed out rather quickly by the handsome chap pictured.
“PD Quake tracked the two males and surprisingly, showing the most common sense they probably ever have, they stopped and were promptly arrested.
“For those who don’t know PD Quake, he can reach speeds of up to 30mph.
“For anyone thinking of stealing a motorcycle, we will catch you, and we will use our furry friends if needs be…and he doesn’t use handcuffs.”
They also urged people to make sure their motorbikes and scooters were locked in a secure yard if possible.
