Over 40 classic vehicles took to Cumbria’s roads this weekend.
Today, Sunday September 1, was the 21st Cumberland Trunk Road Truck Run.
Anyone traveling along the trunk roads in the north of the county, could have been forgiven for thinking they had stepped into a time machine and gone back in time, writes Paul Grindley, who also took the photos of the vehicles in Brampton.
The event started from Gilwilly Industrial Estate in Penrith this morning, before the vehicles took on the challenge climbing up of Hartside Pass, to take them to Alston, from were they headed on to Brampton and then Longtown, before heading back to Carlisle before arriving at their final destination, the White Heather at Kirkbride.
