Fun for all the family will be on offer when Workington Fire Station hosts its annual open day on Sunday, September 15.
Visitors can learn more about life as a firefighter, with tours of the station and appliances on offer.
There is also the chance to view rescue demonstrations and to try hands-on firefighting activities and drills.
Other attractions include face-painting and refreshments, while Fireman Sam and Wellyphant will make a special appearance.
The free event is held from 11am to 3pm.
