Three Cumbrian youngsters are gearing up for the trip of a lifetime thanks to a dance school and a Carlisle beauty clinic.
Members of Razzamataz South Lakes will visit Dubai in November.
The trip has been organised by the Razzamataz Theatre Schools network and has been made possible thanks to the fundraising efforts of the team and families from the South Lakes school and £3,000 sponsorship from VL Aesthetics.
While in Dubai, the students have been asked to perform for educational leaders from across the world.
Lana and Vanessa Brown, directors of VL Aesthetics, said: “e believe in the power of the arts to transform lives. Since the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have focused our efforts on supporting children from underprivileged backgrounds in Cumbria.
“We are deeply committed to nurturing their potential through music, dance, singing, and other creative pursuits, knowing that these experiences are crucial for their confidence and communication skills.
“We are truly honoured to sponsor three incredible young talents from Cumbria who will soon embark on a remarkable journey to Dubai. This opportunity to perform on an international stage is a testament to their hard work and dedication. We are confident that this experience will inspire them to dream bigger and reach higher.”
Asha Richardson said: “Their support has been instrumental in making this trip possible for these Cumbrian students, providing opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom.
“By exposing students to diverse cultures and experiences, the Razzamataz Theatre Schools aim to cultivate not only artistic talents but also the confidence and ambition to pursue their goals fearlessly. This journey is more than just an educational trip; it’s a chance to broaden horizons and empower the next generation to think big and dream even bigger.”
