Barrow Raiders are in a direct fight with Swinton Lions to avoid third bottom in the Championship and a play-off game with the runners-up in League One.
Whitehaven will go down with Dewsbury and it will be between the Raiders and the Lions as to who contests the new survival showdown game.
Barrow finish at home to Widnes Vikings while Swinton travel to Bradford Bulls – two interesting fixtures.
Widnes are still fighting for a play-off place and need a win to have a chance of pipping Sheffield or Featherstone, while Bradford will finish third whatever the result against Swinton.
Barrow completed their away programme with a 46-0 defeat at League winners Wakefield Trinity.
But coach Paul Crarey was full of praise for his side which included three amateurs who did very well in a tough test for them.
“There was tremendous effort from everyone and I was really pleased with how the young lads performed.
“They were always going to run away with it but it was damage limitation and the players did us proud.
“Unfortunately we did puck up a few injuries and it looks as though Jarrad Stack might have broken his wrist. But just one more game to go hopefully and we will see what next Sunday brings.”
