Cumbria’s most wanted: These people on police’s radar – can you help track them down?

Two people wanted for shoplifting have been found and arrested.

A 36-year-old woman was arrested this afternoon, October 9, by officers and Daryl Mullholland, 35, of Thwaite Street, Barrow was charged with theft from a shop yesterday, October 8. He is due to appear South Cumbria Magistrates Court on October 28. 

Police initially asked for help to track down 12 people. Three people have now been arrested. A spokesman confirmed that a person wanted for recall to prison had been located.

James Weaver, 44, wanted on recall for prison, was arrested on Monday night.

Jordan Riglar, 33, was arrested yesterday on suspicion of failing to appear at court. 

A man, 48, wanted for breach of a court order, was arrested this morning by officers. 

Detective Inspector David Howard, of Cumbria Constabulary, said: “We would like the public’s help in locating the individuals we are appealing for.

“The appeals are connected to ongoing investigations covering a range of crimes.

“Each day, our officers ensure those who are wanted in connections with offences are identified and located so we can progress investigations.

“Public information has and always will be important in assisting our work to ensure we secure justice for victims of crime.

“There will be people out there that hold information on where these individuals are. I would urge anyone with such information to please contact us.”

Cumbria police said: “We would like to thank those who have shared our appeal and are continuing to request information on the whereabouts of 10 other people wanted for various criminal offences.”

Police are continuing to request information on the whereabouts of nine other people wanted for various criminal offences.

They are:

  • James Davey: The 35-year-old is wanted for malicious communications. He has links to the Barrow area.
  • Shaun Edgar: The 38-year-old is wanted for failure to comply with a community order. He has links to the Workington area.
  • Liam Fintoni: The 25-year-old is wanted for driving offences. He has links to Carlisle, the North East and London.
  • Rachel Gent: The 40-year-old is wanted for breach of a court order. She has links to the Carlisle area.
  • Steven Smallwood: The 25-year-old is wanted for breach of bail and failing to appear at court. He has links to the Whitehaven area.
  • David Taylor: The 34-year-old is wanted for breach of bail. He has links to the Carlisle area.
  • Jonathan Tryon: The 42-year-old is wanted for failing to appear at court. He has links to the Barrow area.

Anyone with any information regarding the location of these individuals is asked to contact police.
