Egremont Rangers’ Aaron Turnbull is the latest community player to sign for Whitehaven.
Turnbull, 23, has played at both Rangers and Hensingham in his time at National Conference Level playing a major part in the 2023 promotion campaign, scoring 13 tries in 19 appearances.
The utility forward has also represented his country at Community Lions level with a number of new signings ahead of the 2025 season scoring against Wales Dragonhearts in 2022 and Ireland A in 2023.
Whitehaven head coach Anthony Murray said: “I am really pleased Aaron has decided to take up his first opportunity to play professionally with us at Whitehaven.
“Aaron is a versatile forward who can play in the back row or middle.
“He has been a stand out in the community game and gained international recognition playing for the England Lions so I’m delighted another player of that calibre has decided to join us.”
