Inspira is hosting careers fairs in Whitehaven, Carlisle and Workington this month.
Aimed to help and support over-18s who are unemployed, seeking to re-enter the workforce, or contemplating a careers change, the free events will feature over 20 local and national employers.
Career advisers will also be on hand to provide support and guidance on CV writing, interview preparation, and the development of essential career skills.
There’s no need to register in advance – people are encouraged to just come along on the day.
The event is being organised by Inspira in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce with support from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund provided through Cumberland Council delivered by Cumbria Business Growth Hub.
They will be held at:
- November 7 – The Solway Hall, Whitehaven, 10am-3pm
- November 14 – People First, Carlisle, 2pm-6pm
- November 21 – Carnegie Theatre, Workington, 10am-3pm
