Cache4’s resident gaming ‘stig’

A family-run computer shop in Carlisle is bringing some festive fun this December with an exciting free gaming event for families.

On Friday December 6 between 3pm and 6pm and Saturday December 7 from 10am to 2pm, gamers of all ages are invited to beat Cache4’s resident gaming expert, enjoy Christmas treats and compete for a chance to win a gaming bundle.

With three stations featuring a virtual-reality headset, a PlayStation 4 and a high-performance gaming PC, it will be a chance to show off your skills and beat your friends in a fun and festive atmosphere at the firm’s Hether Drive base.

“We wanted to bring the community together for some festive fun and mark small business Saturday, and what better way than with some friendly competition,” says Paul Crooks, managing director.

“We’ll have family favourites as well as the more competitive challenges, so there’ll be something for everyone. For the grown-ups we’ll have complimentary mince pies and mulled wine too.”

The event is free, and those who book in advance will be entered into a free raffle for a chance to win a gaming bundle, including a new gaming monitor.

“We’re looking forward to seeing the community come together for some good fun,” Paul added. “Bring your mates, bring your family – and think you can beat the Stig? Let’s find out!”
