Gang threaten victim with knife in early hours assault

An early hours assault included threats made with a knife in the early hours in Barrow.

Four people ran after the victim in the areas of Cavendish Street and Dalton Road at around 1am today, Saturday November 30.

Police said they were investigating a case of possession of a bladed article, threat with a bladed article and assault as a result.

The victim received a cut lip.  

Police are appealing for witnesses and said one of the people they would like to identify was a white man, 5ft 6ins with short blond hair and wearing a grey jumper and blue jeans.

The second was described as a white man, 5ft 10ins with short dark curly hair and was wearing a black jumper and blue jeans. 

Officers are looking for any witnesses or anyone who can identify the suspects.
