Plans are in the pipeline for a new Scout troop to open next year in Silloth.
1st Silloth Scout Group wants to set up the troop and the team are on the lookout for an adult volunteer to help make it possible.
The Scout troop, for children aged 10-and-a-half to 14, will provide opportunities for even more young people in Silloth to have unmissable experiences, make new friends and gain skills for life.
The organisation said whatever people’s background, identity or ability, there’s a volunteer spot available.
