A South Cumbrian playground will be closed for two weeks after it was attacked by vandals.
The toddler playground at Vickerstown Park on Walney, Barrow, has had to be temporarily closed after some rope connectors on the climbing nets and footbridge were damaged.
Westmorland & Furness Council said: “We’re working hard to get the necessary parts and will prioritise repairs as soon as they arrive.
“We expect the playground to be closed for around two weeks. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
