A Carlisle road has reopened following a gas leak.
The issue was first reported at around 1.55pm yesterday, Friday January 10, to Cumbria police and the A689 was closed between Newby West roundabout and Orton Road roundabout.
Traffic was diverted via Orton Road and Wigton Road.
Our colleagues at Cumbria Road Watch said the road reopened at around noon.
