Whitehaven have added two new recruits to their squad.
Whitehaven Rugby League announced the signing of Aaron Burns and welcome Scott Egan on a month’s trial.
Winger Burns, brother of club captain Jordan, has signed a one year deal following a successful trial period with the club where he started in the club’s pre-season friendly with Barrow.
He will remain at The Ortus Rec for the 2025 season having previously made six appearances for Workington in 2023, scoring three tries.
Egan joins the club on trial having coming through the junior system at Hensingham and has recently spent time in the reserves set-up at Super League side Salford Red Devils.
Egan is at home in the centre or wing position and will look to earn a contact with the club over the next month.
