
Saturday saw plenty of goals in the Cumberland County League.
The Benevolent Cup Quarter Final tie between Bransty Rangers and Wigton Harriers finally went ahead after the three previous attempts were postponed.
A Carl Lightfoot double for Wigton Harriers from the Premier Division earned them a 2-0 win against Division One outfit Bransty and set up a semi final tie against the holders Maryport Athletic.
In the Premier Division, Cockermouth are now only a point behind league leaders Unisun Athletic after a 4-1 victory against Aspatria.
Ben Rathbone scored a hat trick for Cockermouth with the other goal being provided by Luke Graham. Darryl Creighton scored for Aspatria.
Braces from both Luke Mason and Charlie Robson helped Keswick to a 4-2 against Cleator Moor Celtic Reserves who own goals were provided by Carson Williams and Sam Stone.

Division One saw Workington Juniors earn themselves another win, this time beating Windscale Reserves 2-0.
Goals from Macauley Sharp and Josh Hoggart means Workington are now 11 points clear of second place Mirehouse and on the brink of clinching the title.
Joe Martin found the back of the net for Whitehaven AFC Reserves to give his club a 1-0 victory against Unisun Athletic Youth Development.
The Divisional Cups have now started now started with each competition at the group stage.

In the Ken Glover Memorial Cup, Unisun Athletic started the competition with a win after Kian Maker and an own goal helped them to a 2-1 victory against Whitehaven Miners Social. Connor Woodend found the back of the net for Miners.
Silloth and Whitehaven Miners Social Development played out a goalless draw in the League Cup 2.
Wednesday night sees Whitehaven Miners Social Development host Bransty Rangers in Division One at the Copeland Stadium with a 7pm kick off.
