Start your adventure with Silloth Scouts

Silloth’s new Scout troop is encouraging even more local young adventure seekers to get out any explore.

Following a successful and action-packed launch event last month, 1st Silloth’s all new Scout troop are ready to welcome more members.

Meeting at 32 Eden Street, the troop is for youngsters aged 10-and-a-half and 14.

Over the coming months, the Scouts will not only have the chance plan their own programme but also take part plenty of adventures from archery and shooting and tomahawks, as well as being able to develop those more traditional scouting skills.

They will even have the opportunity to get involved in district events.

Kathryn Shires, a leader at 1st Silloth Scout Group said “Scouts in Silloth get the opportunity to have fun and adventure whilst learning valuable skills and being a big part of the local community.”
