Police are still searching for a vehicle that failed to stop near Workington yesterday.
The car, a grey Honda Accord, registration PL06JX, failed to stop for officers at 9.47am yesterday on the A596 between Workington and Flimby.
Enquiries remain ongoing to locate the vehicle.
The initial appeal saw people asked to look out for the car on the move or potentially dumped.
At the time, Allerdale Police said: “You may just prevent someone being killed.”
