Craig David will headline a new open air concert in Carlisle this summer.

The Carlisle Weekender takes place from Friday June 6 at Carlisle United’s Brunton Park.

Craig David, Sigala and Wes Nelson will perform on June 6 as part of the Craig David Presents TS5 show.

Sigala is a UK producer and DJ renowned for his chart-topping dance anthems and collaborations with global stars. He will perform his high-energy set on Friday at the Cumbrian Stadium, featuring some of his biggest hits Melody, Lasting Love, and Came Here for Love.

Finance director at Carlisle United FC, Suzanne Kidd said: “Carlisle Weekender promises to be the biggest music event and highlight of the summer in the city.

“There is no better place to host it, and we look forward to welcoming music fans from fan and wide.”

Wes Nelson is also set to electrify the audience.

A TV star turned singer-songwriter, Wes has amassed over 1.2 billion global streams with hit singles and collaborations, including the UK platinum track See Nobody.

Creative director of Carlisle Weekender for Carlisle United FC, Oliver Hodgson, said: “It’s exciting to announce such a high calibre line-up for Friday at Carlisle Weekender and put the enjoyment of the community of Carlisle and beyond at the centre of it.”

Tickets are on sale now.
