
Two people have been taken to hospital after a fire at a factory in north Cumbria.
The incident happened at the Nestle plant in Dalston, near Carlisle, yesterday, Monday April 14.
Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service said crews had been called at around 7.10am and firefighters extinguished the blaze.
The fire had broken out on the fourth floor of the factory on Carlisle Road.
The plant, which employs over 340 people, was evacuated.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said two casualties were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Nestle said there would be a full investigation into the cause of the blaze.
