Dizzee Rascal and Gabrielle have been revealed as headliners for a new summer Carlisle festival.

The artists will lead the line-up on Saturday June 7 at the Carlisle Weekender, which will take place at Carlisle United’s Brunton Park.

Tinchy Stryder and Carlisle favourites Hardwicke Circus will also perform at the event.

Dizzee Rascal is one of the most recognisable names in British hip hop. He is known for his chart-topping tracks including Bonkers, Holiday, and Dance Wiv Me.

Brit Award winner singer-songwriter Gabrielle is known for her era-defining smash hits, including the number one singles Dreams, Rise, and Out Of Reach. She will perform live with her band.

Platinum selling singer-songwriter Tinchy Stryder is renowned for hits including Number 1 and Never Leave You.

Craig David, Sigala and Wes Nelson will headline the Carlisle Weekender on June 6 as part of the Craig David Presents TS5 show.

Suzanne Kidd, finance director at Carlisle United, said: “This is another stellar line-up for the city to enjoy this summer. Brunton Park is the perfect venue, and it’ll be wonderful to see so many well-known British musicians grace the main stage in June.

“We think this is a great day of live music with something for everyone to enjoy.”

Oliver Hodgson, creative director of Carlisle Weekender for Carlisle United FC, added: “We’re totally thrilled to unveil another star-studded line-up for the Saturday of Carlisle Weekender.

“In addition to the already released Friday line-up, we’re making the whole weekend one to remember with something for everyone and bringing some huge names to the city.”

Tickets which start from £45 with pay-in-three options are on sale now.

Carlisle Weekender is a brand-new for 2025 weekend of live music hosted at Brunton Park Stadium.
