A 15-year-old boy has been charged with racially aggravated common assault following an incident in Carlisle last month.
A teen was assaulted in the city on March 15.
The 15-year-old, who cannot be named because he is under 18, is due to appear at youth court tomorrow, Friday April 25.
Cumbria police said they were given authority to charge the 15-year-old following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service.
Cumbria police added that the Crown Prosecution Service was considering the case of three other boys also arrested in connection with the incident.
