Stolen items were found and three men were arrested in just 20 minutes by Barrow police.
Police were flagged down by a resident yesterday afternoon, Friday May 16, after metal items were stolen from the residents garden.
Within the space of 20 minutes, police arrested and detained three men and recovered the stolen items, which are now being returned.
A police spokesperson said: “Luckily PC 3164 Roberts and PC 3479 Townend-Mcgrath were having none of it and with speed that would make your pizza delivery jealous.
“Our message is, if you come into our area to commit crime, you better scrap that idea – don’t get banged up in Barrow.”
