The luxurious Midland Pullman journeyed through Cumbria as it took passengers on a scenic tour.

Passengers were taken along the Settle to Carlisle railway, followed by a break in Carlisle, before travelling down the Cumbrian coastal line then into the Yorkshire Dales.

The Midland Pullman was Britain’s first luxury high speed diesel-electric train running in the early 1960s.

Andrew Moncrief got a snap of the train at Whitehaven Railway Station.

Did you catch the luxury train on her journey? We’d love to see your photos or videos – email [email protected] and tell us where you saw her.
