More heavy load movements will take place in Barrow this week.
A rolling road closure will be in place today, Monday May 19, in Barrow as BAE Systems is due to move a heavy load by road.
The operation will involve disruption to Bridge Road, Barrow Island, for around an hour early in the early afternoon.
Cumbria police will co-ordinate the rolling road closure.
BAE Systems is also due to move heavy loads by road tomorrow, Tuesday May 20 and Wednesday, May 21.
All will involve delays in Michaelson Road and Bridge Road between Associated British Ports and BAE Systems’ Central Yard Facility.
The moves will take place mid-morning and mid-afternoon on Tuesday and then again mid-afternoon on Wednesday.
The moves are scheduled outside peak traffic times. Cumbria Constabulary will operate rolling road closures.
