
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drug dealing in Barrow.
He was initially arrested on Monday, May 19, after officers from Cumbria police’s Community Serious and Organised Crime unit found a quantity of a substance, believed to be cocaine.
He was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and was released under investigation.
Detectives from Westmorland & Furness CID and the unit carried out further enquiries and the man was arrested yesterday, Tuesday May 20, on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
He has been released on police bail pending further enquires.
