Watchtree Nature Reserve has had its education hut revamped.
The reserve has had a donation of high-quality kitchen units and work surfaces that have transformed the interior of the hut, thanks to Howdens Kitchens, based in Wigton.

It’s an upgrade that provides much-needed storage and a fresh, functional and welcoming space for the reserve’s education and wellbeing team to use during bad weather.
The reserve has named the hut The Howdens Hut and to express its thanks, has proudly installed a Howdens sign on the side of the hut.

Leanne Fisher, education and wellbeing Team Leader “This donation has truly made a difference to how we will deliver educational and wellbeing sessions at Watchtree, providing a fully functional indoor space for those rare wet days at Watchtree.
“We’re so thankful to Howdens for their generosity and community spirit.”
