Multiple heavy load movements will take place in Barrow next week.
BAE Systems is set to move three heavy loads by road throughout the week.
On the afternoon of Monday, June 2, and again on the morning of Tuesday, June 3, units are being moved from Associated British Ports to BAE Systems’ Devonshire Dock Hall.
Delays in Michaelson Road and Bridge Road are likely to last around one hour during both movements – with police providing rolling road blocks.
In Tuesday afternoon there will be a further road movement between Devonshire Dock Hall and BAE Systems’ Top Yard.
Another rolling road block will delay traffic for up to an hour on Bridge Road.
A heavy load is also due to move through Barrow later this afternoon.
