People are invited to explore 18 gardens in a Cumbrian village next month.
Stainton’s Garden Gadabout takes place on July 14 and 15 from noon to 5pm on both days.
Now in its sixth year, it gives people the opportunity to explore a variety of gardens from landscaped to those with wildlife areas and rockeries and ponds.
There will also be stalls in the gardens, selling plants, books, cakes, light refreshments and bric a brac.
Refreshments will be available in the village hall and the event is in aid of Cancer Research, Cumbria Family Support and Stainton Village Hall.
Tickets are £5, accompanied children free. Assistance dogs only.
