
Two outdoor theatre performances will be held to support the Lake District Calvert Trust.
Organised by Friends of the Calvert Trust (Lake District), Pride and Prejudice will be performed by Illyria on Tuesday July 8 at 7pm in the grounds of the Lingholm Estate.
Tickets are £20 and can be booked here, the show lasts around two hours and 20 minutes (including interval) and is suitable for all ages.
On Wednesday August 27, at 5.30pm, the theatre company return to the grounds of Lowther Castle for their annual, family performance.
This year, they perform Kenneth Grahame’s The Wind in the Willows.
Tickets start from £10 and can be booked here. The show lasts an hour and 40 minutes (including interval) and is suitable for ages five-plus (younger children also welcome).

For Pride and Prejudice, the Lingholm Kitchen will be open for refreshments.
For The Wind in the Willows, the cafe at Lowther will be open and theatre tickets include entrance to the castle and gardens for the day of the performance.
