A shoplifter has been banned from shops in Workington and Maryport and a Whitehaven petrol station.
Allerdale Police said they had secured a criminal behaviour order against Matthew Jones, 28, of no fixed address.
Officers said he had been targeting local businesses in West Cumbria.
He is banned from:
- Entering any of the shops on the Workington Shopwatch scheme or displaying the Workington Shopwatch scheme logo
- Entering any of the shops on the Maryport Shop Watch scheme or any shop displaying the Maryport Shopwatch scheme logo
- Entering the Pelican BP garage in Whitehaven
It is in addition to the existing conditions already in place in Whitehaven.
Police said they encouraged anyone who sees these terms being breached to report to police immediately so that action could be taken.
