Talkin Tarn

A north Cumbrian country park will host a sponsored walk for charity Cumbria Cerebral Palsy.

Rock ‘n’ Stroll will be held at Talkin Tarn, near Brampton, on July 20 from 11am to 2pm.

The charity said: “We are a well-established local charity dedicated to improving the lives of Cumbrian adults and children with cerebral palsy and other associated disabilities.

“As Talkin Tarn has a 1.3-mile circular path that is hard surfaced and accessible to all the idea of Roll ‘n’ Stroll was born.

“We would like to encourage as many people as possible to pick up a sponsor form from any of our Cumbria Cerebral Palsy charity shops in Brampton or Carlisle or email us and we’ll send you one by return, and come and enjoy a good day out while raising funds for our amazing charity.”

Fancy dress is encouraged on the day but is optional and there will be prizes for the best outfit and there will also be a tombola.

To request a sponsor form, email [email protected]
