Whitehaven Marras & Arras organised a Student Minds Charity Darts Open at Moor Row Working Men’s Club and raised over £500.
The competition was set up to help local student Ruth Atkinson raise funds for Student Minds.
Later this year Ruth will be heading to Tanzania to climb Kilimanjaro while raising funds for the charity. A total of £563 was raised on the day, bringing Ruth’s total to over £2,900.
40 entries boiled down to a final between Simon Winder and Adam Jenkinson. Simon ran out the victor beating Adam 4-2.
