Emergency services were called to an incident involving concern for a person who was in the water at Devil’s Bridge.
Cumbria police said they were called at around 3.05pm yesterday, Sunday July 13.
The area, near Kirkby Lonsdale, is a popular place for bikers to meet.
People were asked to stay away from the area while emergency services responded.
