
A Lake District hotel is on the market for £3.95 million.
The Patterdale Hotel, dates back to 1626 and the stone-built premises are in around six acres, although the total site extends to around 40 acres.
The hotel has 60 en suite bedrooms, extensive staff accommodation, and public areas including the Place Fell Inn lounge bar, a snug, the West Lounge with combined seating totalling around 40, and a restaurant seating 66.
Colliers, which is marketing the venue, said it benefited from a strong and consistent trading base, generating an actual and forecast net turnover of around £1.95 million for the year ending June 2025.
The property also comes with additional accommodation, a detached manager’s house, several staff cottages, and a two-storey former barn offering potential for redevelopment or alternative uses.
Outdoor amenities include a beer garden with picnic seating, a decking area with barbecue facilities, and on-site parking.
