Police said a group of youths threw items and shouted verbal abuse at them in Cleator Moor last night.
The youngsters also broke into an empty building, causing damage, Copeland Police said, yesterday, Thursday August 14.
Copeland Police added: “Those responsible have been captured on CCTV and will be dealt with accordingly.
“This behaviour is wholly unacceptable, it removes patrols from dealing with other more serious issues and will not be tolerated.”
