Firefighters spent four hours tackling a house blaze in South Cumbria on Sunday.
Four crews were called to the house fire Milnthorpe Road in Kendal at around 11.10am.
Firefighters from Milnthorpe, Sedbergh, Kendal and Barrow attended.
Police closed the road while the fire was extinguished.
