A Lake District mountain rescue team was called out after a 30kg dog refused to move while out on a walk.
The dog was with two people at Wastwater Screes last Saturday, August 16, at around 6.05pm.
Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team was called by Cumbria police for help.
The team said: “The Team leader deployed a boat team and they successfully rescued the dog along with two walkers. All were safely returned to the landing area and continued their walk back to their campsite.”
