Strike action by Stagecoach workers has been called off for this week.
The walkout was planned by staff of Stagecoach North East and would have affected the 685 service from Carlisle to Newcastle tomorrow, Thursday, August 21.
The industrial action has been postponed pending the results of a ballot.
