A Cumbrian family firm is proud to put the community at the heart of its work.

Oltco Cumbria, part of JD Building and Groundworks, was one of the contractors who carried out work at the new Keswick Rugby Club.

Owned by Dale Moulton and his cousin John Weller, they said they were proud to be involved with the Big Build, which was a massive community effort to raise the funds for the new club.

Dale said: “The club is very close to our hearts, we played for Keswick as kids. They’ve always been a part of our lives. We have friends who play there now.”

Friends include Glen Weightman, who the firm also sponsors for cricket.

Glen said: “I am pleased to have Oltco sponsoring me again for another year. They are super good lads and reliable. We got them in to do the back garden and what transformation! We’re super happy with the finished product and highly recommend them. I hope to give them as good as last year – thanks lads.”

Keswick Rugby Club said: “We are delighted by the work carried out by Dale and John. The resin provides a fantastic finish to our terraced beer garden and viewing platform for the rugby club.

“The service was exceptional at every stage. They were helpful, flexible and patient during the planning stages, especially when delays occurred. On site, they were hard-working, tidy and dedicated to producing an excellent finish.

“After completion, they were happy to provide useful advice. The new resin area is a very public space and many positive comments have been received. Great customer service from start to finish!”
