But the Low Green team has three games to play.

West Cumbria Fours League
Although the league title was settled a while ago the race is still on for second and third place.
Cleator Moor have played all of their games and have 71 points; Whitehaven A also have 71 points but have a game to play (against Whitehaven B) thus needing just one point to finish as runners-up in the league.
Fitz Park have one game to play (at home against Maryport) and are on 66 points and, therefore, have a realistic chance of finishing third and a theoretical chance of finishing second.
Last Friday Whitehaven A came a cropper against Whitehaven B when they lost 4-3, though in fairness they were, it is understood, far from full strength – even so, a great result for the B team.
Results from 22 August: Seaton 7 Vulcan Park 0; Cleator Moor 2 Fitz Park 5; Whitehaven A 3 Whitehaven B 4; Workington A 7 Workington B 0.
