Former world boxing champion Tyson Fury is expected to put in an appearance at Cartmel races this afternoon.
It’s the final meeting of the season at the Cumbrian course and Fury has a horse running.
The Big Gypsy King is set to make his hurdling debut, and he’s trained by successful local trainer Jimmy Moffat.
Fury owns the three-year-old with his manager Spencer Brown and she failed to make much of an impact when last seen on the Flat, finishing last of 11 at Doncaster.
Fury was there on that occasion and will certainly be looking for a better showing this afternoon.
Moffat is looking for a good day as he leads the trainers challenge over the season.
From Ireland the Joseph O’Brien-trained dual winner Dignam is prominent among the opposition and is likely to go off favourite.
