Keswick Mountain Rescue team were called to Latrigg, on Saturday August 24, at 2.48pm, to a woman who had experienced a brake failure on her mobility scooter.
The woman had been out on a forestry road in the area and the brake failure caused her scooter to roll back and off the edge of the road.

Cumbria Police were first on scene and managed to move the scooter off the woman.

Keswick MRT assistance was requested to extricate the woman to an awaiting ambulance.
She was checked over by the paramedics and later discharged. The Keswick team then went on to retrieve the scooter.
