An international market on Whitehaven harbour will not trade today due to the weather.
High winds have forced traders to head home earlier than scheduled and the market will not be open today, Sunday August 31.
Whitehaven Harbour Commissioners said: “We’re all disappointed but safety has to take priority.
!It’s been a challenging few days with the weather, and Harbour Fest yesterday also had to finish slightly early, as feared, but even so there was still a great atmosphere.”
