
Lowca have confirmed their place in the Holmen Iggesund Cumberland RL top four play-offs.
A 76-20 win against Glasson in the Premier Division was an emphatic qualification, although the Rangers have struggled in their come-back season and hopefully will be stronger next year.
Emerson Allen, with four tries and Evan Hodgson with a try and six goals both contributed 16 points to the Lowca cause.
There was a hat-trick for Jordan Allen; man of the match Finn Barwise went over twice as did Luke Stockton.
The other tries came from Logan Milburn and Josh Jackson while Billy Penrice kicked four goals.
Jonny Ostle (2), Matt Burns and John Dollochin scored the Glasson tries with Tom Currie kicking two goals. Winger Pete Fearon was their man of the match.
In Division One Egremont A moved into the final play-off spot with a 56-10 win at Maryport A.
It was 30-6 at half-time and Egremont finished with ten tries from Ollie Barwise (2), Harry Vallent (2), Jack Conway (2), Nathan Preston (2), JP Brocklebank and Dan Telford.
Kaidon Block kicked four goals; Johnny Royle landed three and there was one from Conway.
Lewis Moore and Attlee Skillen scored Maryport’s tries and Moore added a conversion.
With one game to play Distington A could still thwart Egremont A and take fourth spot.
They entertain Aspatria next Saturday while Egremont A are at champions Kells A.
In a Division One game on Friday, Distington A beat Hensingham A 26-16 to put them bang in the reckoning.
