Work is set to start on a new puffin crossing in West Cumbria next month.
The crossing on the A597 at Harrington’s Church Road and Main Road has been commissioned by Cumberland Council.
Work is due to start on October 26. Temporary traffic signals will be in place for around two weeks.
Despite a start date being set, Cumberland Council is asking people for feedback before it begins.
