
A man has been banned from Carlisle city centre for two years.
Rodger Oates, 41, of Dixon Court, Carlisle, was initially given an interim criminal behaviour order on May 22 after being sentenced for possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
He was also handed a two-year jail sentence, suspended for two years, with a drug rehabilitation requirement.
He was given a full order on Friday, which lasts for two years.
The conditions are:
- Not to be in possession of any unsealed vessel containing alcohol in any public place, except Inside a licensed premises.
- Not to enter the city centre of Carlisle, unless whilst in transit on public transport or attending Carlisle Railway Station in possession of a valid train ticket or immediately purchasing a valid train ticket and in any case to board the train in one hour and leave immediately once disembarking a train arriving at Carlisle Railway Station.The area is defined as: Carlisle Citadel, Court Square Brow, Carlisle Train Station, Court Square, The Crescent, English Street, Botchergate and Collier Lane or the area bound by them.
- Not to enter Carlisle Railway Station including its car park unless in possession of a valid ticket or immediately purchase a valid ticket and board the train in one hour and leave immediately once disembarking a train arriving at Carlisle Railway Station.
