A series of fires in a Lake District park are being investigated by police.
A number of waste bins have been set alight and fires started in grassed areas of Fitz Park in Keswick since July 30.
Cumbria police said enquiries were ongoing into the incidents and patrols were in the area to disrupt the dangerous behaviour.
Allerdale police and Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service said the fires could turn into something more dangerous.
Howard Winter, crew manager at Keswick Fire Station, said: “Sadly we have recently seen a number of seemingly deliberate fires started in Fitz Park in Keswick.
“Deliberate fires, no matter how small, can easily spread and pose a risk to life and property.
“They can have a devastating impact on our communities and take up valuable time and resources.
“We want to protect our communities and the beautiful green spaces which help make our towns and villages such wonderful places to live – please help us to do this by not starting deliberate fires.”
