Workington have taken a third young player on loan from Carlisle United.
The Reds have confirmed that Jake Allen has joined Hayden Atkinson and Dan Hopper at Borough Park.
Allen is no stranger to the club, having spent time under Mark Fell last season.
He will be in contention for a place in Darren Edmondson’s side to take on Ilkeston away this afternoon.
Atkinson is unlikely to be fit to resume, and two other former Carlisle United players Cieran Casson and Kai Nugent also look to be struggling for full fitness.
Reds’ latest addition to the ranks Greg McCarragher has received international clearance following his release by Gretna but is not able to play as he still has a one game ban to serve after being sent off in a Lowland League game.
