
Emergency services are currently dealing with a van fire on the A595.
Cumbria police and Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service was called at around 9.40am today, October 1, to the Grizebeck area.
It is understood no one is injured.
Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service said firefighters from Ulverston were called to the incident.
A spokesman added: “The vehicle was well alight when the crew arrived and firefighters used breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, and a compressed air foam system to extinguish the fire.”
People are asked to avoid the area while emergency services are at the scene and the vehicle is recovered.
